ALGOLAND in the News
A tip of the hat to ALGOLAND yesterday in an article posted on the Green Architecture and Building Project, a resource website that shares information on responsible, sustainable design!
The article, written by Mans Tham, a Stockholm-based artchitect and urban strategist, discusses the possibilities for using bridges and freeway systems as localized-energy producers, utilizing solar paneling as large-scale installations.
Another example of local-energy producers is, of course, to grow algae using flue gas CO2 from cement production, which both filters excess CO2 and in turn creates the possibility for bio-fuel and biomass for animal feed.
